Just call up this bank. Their policy sucks... Going to slowly withdraw all my services from them...

The Lion King Musical

I have gone down Marina Bay Sands to see The Lion King Musical. The costume, singing and props are quite good. But they shine the spot light into audience eyes three times which I find it disturbing and irritating. They also try to inject some local humor which some might find it weird. Things like :"I tot I saw Merlion", "HDB upgrading". Also they input some mandarin 臺詞 such as "謝謝﹐鼓勵。" The show I feel is a bit long at around 2h 15 mins. Of cos, the final highlight of this event is to buy myself some Lion King souvenir. Haa!!

訂早報﹐送攝影機﹗

There is a promotion lately. If you subscribe 早報, you can get gifts plus a 10% discount in subscription rate. Why not since my family reads 早報。The gift I got is a camcorder. It is a pretty simple camcorder. I all along wanted to buy a simple camcorder for fun. But just that I dun wish to pay for one. Ha... 它來的真是時候﹗

A trip down to 巴厘岛 (住二)

I also stayed in Seminyak. It is a pretty good area to stay. Close to Kuta but not too crowded. However, if you take into the consideration of the bad jam, it can take more than 30 min just to travel to Kuta from Seminyak (which is a less than 10 mins drive on good traffic condition). The hotel I stay is Bali Villa. The location is pretty good. A few minutes walk bring you many shops and eateries.

A trip down to 巴厘岛 (住一)

Before flying over, I was spoilt for choices on where to stay in Bali. But finally I have narrowed down to two locations. First is Ungasan and the next is Seminyak.

Ungasan is at the very south of Bali. Taking a cab from Airport will take you 45 mins. The location 可說是鳥不生蛋。It is pretty far from everything. Even the nearest town is about 15 mins drive. So staying here is mainly to relax and not to venture out to anywhere. The hotel I stay is Banyan Tree. 這裡就如世外桃源﹗I would strongly recommend to stay here for at least one night for the fantastic view of Indian ocean!!

回归

Today I will start my blog again. Quite a lot of things happened for the past 6 months plus prompted me to take a break. Now I am back.... My 回归之作 will be my trip to Bali. Look out for it.

Megamind 還不錯

Megamind talks about a a super intelligent alien 落入地球 and 立志 to be a super villain. But after defeating super hero Metro Man, he becomes bored. He tries to create another super hero who turns into a villain. So how will Megamind stop everything? The story lacks of 新鮮感 though it is entertaining. 3D version is nice but not necessary I guess. I think kids will enjoy more.

原来 is Fire wall!

I recently trying to download some files but the downloading speed is totally unacceptable!! So I though is my service provider got problem. After checking, asking around and looking through forum for answer, 我終於找到答案﹗It is due to my fire wall setting all this time! After playing it around and correct the setting, my downloading speed becomes 一日千里﹗

Smoke gets in my eyes.. (捲土重來)

The smoky haze from Indonesia 又捲土重來﹗This time it is back to 1997 era when Singapore still entered the “unhealthy” range of 101 – 200 late today! Hope it will go away soon.

劍雨故事情節 is a bit 搞笑﹗

劍雨 talks about an assassin after 被點化 intend to 離開江湖 for good. But her past eventually caught up with her with both bad and good side chasing after her. The plot is a very typical 武俠情節 but with a slight twist at the end. The 搞笑 part lies mainly when the story unfolds towards the end. The lead cast 鄭雨盛 is a Korean which I do not know initially. They said the show did not 配音 for him which means his Chinese sounds rather good. On the other hand, I feel 大S character is a bit weak and totally 無聊。Overall, the show is still watchable.

Vampires Suck 真的 sucks

After watching the trailer, 我滿懷期待 to watch Vampires Suck as I am a fan of spoof. But Vampires Suck really sucks. It is not funny and many parts are just trying to hard to 搞笑﹗But worth mentioning is that the lead actress Jenn Proske 學 Twilight series 里的女主角的一舉一動學的真象﹗
